Mod help! switching the rear plate to include the up / down arrows

Does anyone know if you can switch the rear gate plate on a SR5 to include the one on the limited with the up / down arrows?
just curious, it would be a sweet assss mod...

I'm pretty sure those button's only work with the Smart key system. I don't think it would be a easy mod to do.

There is more than just the buttons to make it work. Check out the EWD to see the components involved with the rear switches. You could possibly get the rear panel and get aftermarket components to do something similar. Just need to find the components.
