This myth is busted. Everyone at work was amazed when they helped me co-plot the data (something I did not know how to do). There is zero difference with and without the filter in place. The scatter is from me not being able to hold the throttle down steady for a 60 second duration at the specified rpms. Excel draws a best fit line thru the data (the most important part of this) and it goes thru hundreds of points; all of which you do not see. The two lines fall directly on top of one another! The mass flow rate number is carried out to the hundredth place (for example 9.54 grams/min)
