MT bump stop extensions for LT?

I was trying to install the bump stops and rear LT ICON shocks tonight. I love it when products come without any instructions.:sad: I figured it would be super simple, but there are a few ways these bump stop extensions can be mounted (multiple offset holes...)

The idea is to move the bump stop both down and aft correct? (what they call arc swing correction). This would mean using the holes on both top and bottom to get the stock bump as far aft as possible?

I'm assuming they just made one part with all the holes in it for the right and left side....

They have a few pictures of the product on the their site, but it is hard to tell which side of the truck they are showing.

I would normally just test it out and verify. but I'm tired of working on the truck at the moment and just want to be done with it.

Yea, according to the pics I have looked at, you want the stock bump stop as far back as possible.

That is the only logic I could come up with. It seems like the control arm is going higher than level at that point, so the higher it goes the more forward the axle would move.

I wish everyone would realize that just including 2 lines of instructions would really make everyone's life easier including their own.

Instructions are overrated. But seriously, when all my parts arrived, there was almost no instructions, and the few lines I found dealt with the swaybar (non-KDSS), that was of no help. I just threw things in there and hoped it worked, kind of like IKEA furniture (j/k). I spent a lot of time looking up images with the iPad to figure things out.

I normally don't even read instructions. I normally like the challenge of trying to figure it out, BUT when I'm tired and just trying to finish something... I really appreciate being able to read the instructions.

Part of the reason I was so tired of messing with it was the rear lower links being such a PITA to install. Those MT links can be quite the chore to get the bolts to line up. Getting the rear axle to cooperate is not an easy task. The trick ended up being a come-a-long and a few soft straps. 4hrs later, I was done :wacko:

Mine when in real easy when I had the whole rear axle detached, but because one of the links I received was wrong, had and 80 series end, I had to swap it out when the replacement arrived. Then it was a huge PITA. Had to use ratchet straps to get it aligned.

Exactly.... Those joints they use make it much harder than normal since there is no play at all. I had messed with the stock ones before with everything together and it was pretty easy. I think I had the truck on the ground that time though. I had planned about 45 minutes... It turned into much frustration, but most of it was just me being stupid.
