Mud flaps, Ventshields, & Accessories

I dont understand why everyone seems to want mud flaps on here, or why toyota chose to put them on the TE instead of the other two models. All they do is hang down low waiting to get ripped off when your wheeling. Taking them off would be the first thing I did.
 
In case anyone is interested, I contacted Husky about mud flaps/guards for the 2010 4Runner, here was their response.

We just did receive the tooling in for the mud guard for the 2010 Toyota 4Runner. We should be shipping on parts in the next couple of weeks. I will gladly e-mail you when these parts do begin shipping.

Thank goodness! After I get the mudflaps I can get either 275 tires or spidertrax spacers for my limited. I am realling wanting a wider track, but need the mudflaps so I don't fling everything on the road down the side of my rig.

As has been the case with so many products, NOT yet availiable. I called Husky after checking thier web site. The product "should" be in and availiable for shipping in a "couple" of weeks. That tells me around September if past history still holds true. Just a note, this product WILL NOT fit a TE or any other model with flaring around the wheel wells.
 
I emailed the engineer over the weekend. His responce was that they would be available to ship in a couple of days and he was going to put them up on their website, which he did on Monday. I already ordered a full set. I got confirmation on the order, but not on shipping (I don't think that their website supports ship confirmation). As soon as I get them I'll post with photos and do the same for the install. Stay tuned!!

Hope you do not have to wait too long! Please let us known once you actually receive them.
 
Received confirmation that the mud guards are on their way. I should receive them early next week and will post photos as soon as I can! :banana:
