Husky molded Mud Flaps
Received my Husky molded Mud Flaps today.They look OK and seem to fit pretty good. (Did not install just placed against truck) The only problem is the front flaps don't fit with the running boards on unless I slide the boards back about 1" and then the boards will be jutting out into the rear wheel well and that looks really stupid.
Or I can cut the running boards to shorten the length which is an idea I really do not like.
I think I will just return them!

Received my Husky Mud Guards today. I think they look really good. I haven't installed them yet, but like sporty87 I just held them up the the 4Runner and can confirm that the fronts do interfere with my SE Toyota Running boards by about an inch. I am going to first try sliding the Running boards back a bit to see how they look. If I don't like that, I'll probably cut the running boards down. That should be pretty simple since they are just extruded Al with a rubber top and plastic end caps. Once I get them on, I'll post pictures. For now attached are pictures of the guards just sitting on the floor and copies of the instructions (no drilling required)

I ordered the AVS ventshades from TSE Truck Stuff for $57.95. Autoanything also has them but they were more expensive.

How does it fit with the running board?
I have a running board which is installed by Toyota deler in the east cost.
How does it fit? especially the front side of the running board is sticking out about an inch. I read an earlier post about cutting the running board.
Any one have better idea?

Husky Mudflaps
I installed the new Husky mudflaps onto SR5 this afternoon. Pretty easy install, one of the holes on the front flap was misaligned so I had to drill another hole. The flaps are a semi hard plastic. My '94 4Runner had more of a rubber mud flap so this one is different from what I was expecting. I like them on the vehicle but not crazy about them. They should do a great job at protecting the side paint. The back side of them looks great, the inner part is concave and actually has a bottom lip that may hold mud instead of letting it fall. Since there isn't a lot of choices right now I will keep them on and see if something better becomes available. I got them at TSE Truck Stuff costing roughly $70 forall four.

Much appreciated for the photos! They look like they fit pretty good. I think I'll definitely be ordering these for my scheduled camping trip/logging road excursion in August.

Not much different than buddyluke's install, except running boards.
We found this much easier with the rear tires off. And we also added a 4th screw on the rears, where the Husky instructions called for using 3 oems.
The front flaps were snug against the RB's, but they curve anyway, so were easy to install.
Quality product. Due to their shape, I expect they'll fill with slush in the winter, so we'll see how that goes.

Installed mud flap for the front and rear. I have to cut the running board about 5 mm or 2" to make it fit better or the running board not to stick out to the rear tyre. picture will follow soon.

Finding accessories is a pain, but do-able. This forum has lots of advice about where to get stuff both from Toyota and after market. For example:
I bought Toyota Running Boards from Dyer Toyota, SE distribution. Got the info off the forum and e-bay. Couldn't get factory boards anywhere else.
Got bug defelectors and window vent shades made by AVS and sold thru Autoanything.com. Both ran about $65 and where an exact fit. I got the adhesive vent shades (my preference) and they took about 10 mins to install. The bug deflector was even better, it took longer to get it out of the box then to install. It was the most perfect installation I have ever done.
Chrome exhaust tip and roof rack cross bars came from my dealer. I got a leather gear shift knob from Walmart for 7 bucks. Looks great but doesn't fit tight and rotates a little but still better then the stock clunky one.
The only thing I am having trouble getting is a front mount trailer hitch for my fishing rod rack. One of the suppliers said they had one that was a match but when I called them they admitted that the supplier doesn't confirm that it fits, it doesn't. You have to be real careful when they say it fits multiple years including the 2010 - not so in most cases.
Also, the Flamm horn swap out came from Advanced Auto for about $30.
Bottom line: parts are starting to show up but you need to do a lot of digging. Keep checking the forum threads for advice. Compare several sources as prices can vary significantly, I saw a $40 difference on the exact part number trailer hitch from 2 different suppliers, only wished it would work.
Also check the forum for advice on installing stuff, there's a lot of plastic in the vehicle and it is easy and expensive to break. Good luck!
