Honda pilot has awd with sensors at each wheel so when one wheel spins, the sensor directs more power to other three wheels. 4runners on the other hand has awe but no sensors so if one wheel spins, it will spin until you hit 4wd.

I have a 04 Grand Cherokee with Qudra-TracII and prefer it in the snow over the 4runner. Unless the 4runner is in lock it's all over the place.

My jeep is a snowmobile with rubber tires. My mother-in-laws 04 Grand Cherokee with Qudra-Drive is unstoppable in snow. They both are rear wheel drive unless the front driveshaft is spinning at a different speed than the read one. When that's the case the hydraulic pump between the two drive shafts starts creating pressure and grabs the front driveshaft.

The Qudra-Drive has that same pump between the axle shafts for a automatic limited slip.
