Dude extremely sorry to hear that your truck got stolen! Horrible people around. I hope that they recover the truck and that its in good shape. Where and how did it get ?

It's gone with the stroller, 2 cameras and some other belongings.

I don't even have words to describe what a fd up situation this is..

I was hoping they would be able to locate the car even if I wasnt a perscriber but nope.

If you have that option in your truck, use it, I wish I did today.
 
Do you happen to know the details of how it was stolen? Parking lot? Leave it running, or did they bypass the starter system? From where was it stolen? Write as many details as you can here -- people networks are always your best bet in a situation like this.
 
Wow I'm pretty shocked. The smart key system is supposed to be pretty difficult to defeat. Did u have a remote start on it? I'm wondering if remote start made it easier to steal.

Keep in mind, it's probably only a hundred miles or so to the south.

Im a dumbass, is how it happened.
We were leaving my parents house. We loaded the car and left it running for a few minutes to run back inside to get the last item and say bye to everyone.. my mom looks at me and screams Danny what is that.

We all run out side and they were pealing out. There was a white Camry behind him and they bolted. I ran trying to catch the license plate but they were giving 50 or more in residential.

Im a moron, is the end of the story.
 
GPS Locator

If you have insurance with Auto Club in So Cal, they have a monitoring device for free that plugs into the ODBC connector and will do GPS location in case of theft. I can't find the name of the device or program, but I have one on my TE. It may be helpful in the future. If I find the name, I send a PM.

That has to be upsetting especially at Christmas time.
 
Yea, very sorry to hear the news. Don't beat yourself up too bad. Yes, you should be able to leave your rig running and not worry about it. But, a lot of car thefts are a crime of opportunity. My guess would be they are going to drive it to their tweaker flop house, strip it of whatever goodies they find inside, then dump it. It will probably be located within a couple days. Unfortunately, these sh*t bags do not drive vey nicely. I would personally rather find the rig totaled.

Hang in there and try to have a Merry Christmas.
 
Hi Danny.. That frikking SUCKS!... you should be able to step away from your car for a minute or two while it's in your driveway!

Are there any shops/intersections with camera's near by? video from those locations may provide a direction for the cops to search in and hopefully a clear look at the plate of the accomplish car.

I'm glad that there was only stuff in there (imagine if your kid was sleeping in the car seat!?!?)....

Hopefully it gets recovered soon and with most of not all your stuff in there.

Edit: is there a cellphone of yours or your wife in there? that can be easily located.

Yea thank God the little one wasn't in the car, wife didn't take the event well. It was intense, the car made a screeching noise, I think the degenerate didn't rage off the Ebrake.

No GPS enabld devices in the car.

Everything going against the case.

I just want this behind me and move on..

Is it me, or society going to sh it.
