Well USAA just gave me the ok that my truck is not going to be a total loss and that they will fix my truck. Apparently they were going on the vin number for the value of my truck. The USAA guy asked me if I had receipts of all my purchases toward the truck to up the value of my truck. I had receipts from 2014-2020. I have almost 150 of them that I sent to the USAA agent. [emoji23]

I did some maintenance today on my truck and my wife’s truck. Changed the oil on mines and it was a nightmare. Titus-Will Toyota changed it last and it was tight. I mean i had to use a ajustable pliers and it didn’t work. Finally i just used my punch and it came loose with 2 slight turns. I’m never letting Toyota do my oil change ever again.

Made a bracket and extension for my rack today. The brackets will be used when I have my tent on and can put an extension bar on the front of the rack to carry kayaks or anything. The H blocks are made of 6061 aluminum and the bar is made of 7075 aluminum.

So because I will only be using this brackets when camping, I choose to use grade 8 bolts to hold it together

So I moved my tire carrier to the R side instead of the middle because I’m jumping from
A 33” tire to 37”. Looks much better to me and it should of been like that from the beginning.

I have a '98 Limited too!

That 4Runner/Tacoma shotgun wedding looks great! I myself have a '98 Limited, that's just about stock though. Bilstein shock absorbers and moog springs is all she has in terms of modification.

Well the front axle is almost done. Everything is to spec and lubed. I forgot to get the 2 c clips that go on the outer axles by the hub. Damn it’s 2:50 am. [emoji1686]

Does that torque wrench have settings for angle too? My other car has a lot of torque to yield fasteners. Gotta torque then turn so much degrees after so was considering buying a fancy wrench instead of just guesstimating

Yes it does. I bought it cuz I built a sti race block for my son a few years ago. I didn’t even know that it did that’s when I bought it from my Snap On truck. Best investment I made from my snap on tools
