Installed something I found up in the garage while cleaning and getting ready to move back to the 808 state in June. I bought these monsoon visors from Japan 3 years ago and totally forgot about them. These came as an stock option from Toyota on Hilux Surfs. I had the whole set, but one the rear ones broke, so I just installed the 2 front visors.

This is the app that I go for my JDM goodies. It’s basically YahooJapan. You will type in KZN185 & all the good stuff will pop up. You can also look for JDM rims and you will type in 6X139.7. GOOD LUCK SEARCHING[emoji1686]

Snapped a rear axle while coming to a complete stop and accelerating. Put the truck in 4high and limped back home. Luckily I was 10 minutes away from my home. Going to check it on Saturday to fix.

Pulled out the axle this morning and I didn’t break an axle, but stripped about 1/4 inch of the top spline. I got to take the 3rd out and inspect it

So I pulled out the 3rd and found the 3rd with a broken side gear

I then crawled under the truck and cleaned the inside of the housing and prepped the face where the 3rd will sit.

I then grabbed my stock 430 gears and installed it back in the truck, so I can still drive the truck to go to appointments and drop/pickup my son from skool.

I also went and picked up a passenger side axle to replace the stripped axle and installed it yesterday.

Just me getting pallets to load the 40’ container this Saturday. The move back to Hawaii is coming really soon and fast. I also picked up my Snap On tool box from the Machine Shop. They said if I didn’t pick it up, they were keeping it.

Put in 9 pallets of the smalls and played Tetris with some pallets. Going to finish tomorrow with the heavy bulky furniture. The 40 foot container can have 20 pallets total, so I think we’ll be gude. My body hurts because my wife, 12yr old son and I were purging the house about 2 months now. I’m doing a lot, if not all the heavy lifting.

Your in San Fran? I went threw Honolulu Freight. My NT iz da Oerations Manager for Cali, Oregon, and Washington. Only thing is you gotta load da container yourself

So I made these front shorty brackets for when I need loading things low so it doesn’t scratch or damage my solar. It came in handy today when I had to go to the dump and throw away damaged white board. I bought the white board from my old company that I used to work at. I didn’t have rear brackets, so I shorten the original long brackets that I made.



These are the front brackets that I made 2 months ago. It is made of 7075 aluminum.

This is the 1st original brackets that I made. I cut off 6 inches to make them into a shorty bracket. All worked out and I’m just glad I still have my tools to make this happen. This bracket is made of 6061/top and 7075/bottom base aluminum.

I also bored out the channels to install bolts or nuts when needed and I don’t have to dismount it anymore.
