I cut my air box some more I think the deck plate mod was still restricting it. And my new transmission cooler came in its huge!

Pusher fan is done its pretty solid came out really good. Cross brace is done too its a 3/4 .035 chromoly bar. Tomorrow il be finishing up the support bar that supports the hood latch from hitting the ac condenser also il be mounting the transmission cooler.

Finished up the center support bar to support the hood latch. Its a 1/4 chromoly bar .200 wall thickness so its pretty strong it came out really good its super rigid shouldn't be worried at all dropping the hood shut.

1.) What activates it? A certain PSI of boost and it comes on? Or something else?
2.) If it's activated by boost, how much PSI until it starts injecting?
3.) Are there incrimental stages of how much water/meth it injects (more boost / airflow, more water/meth)?
4.) Where are you injecting at?
5.) How much water/meth are you injecting when it kicks on? What size nozzle are you spraying with?

3. Yes its incremental it shoots full power at 9 psi
4. Im injecting it right before the throttle body. In the first pic look for the red hose that's the meth hose.
5. Im spraying it with a 300hp nozzel.

1.) You said you're running 10psi of boost. Are you relying on the water/meth to supress knock? Or are you supplying more fuel somehow?

2.)What do you mean by a "300hp" nozzle? I guess my questions was, what is the flow rate of your nozzle? And how much PSI is your water/meth pump supplying?

3.) Are you using windshield washer fluid as your water/meth mixture?

4.) Which Snow Performance kit are you using? Cost?

5.) Why did you decide to mount your water/meth reservoir in the back of the truck instead closer to front? No room?

O no bother at all its cool that people ask questions and it makes it allot easier that you number the questions 1-5.
1. Yes it tops out at 10 psi I am not running any fuel mods at all. All I did was rebuild my stock injectors and there flowing at 50 pounds.

2. Im not sure on the flow rate I think it says on the snow performance website. On the pump it says max psi is 300 psi.

3. Im running just straight boost juice no water heres a pic.

4. I dont know what kit it is my uncle ordered it cuz he has a friend there. It cost 400 $ and 50 $ for the 2.5 gallon tank.

5. I decided to mount it in the rear because its pretty big didn't fit up front but also because of weight. Im moving everything to the rear battery, fuel cell, 20lbs co2 tank and hang the spare off the back like a jeep.

1.) I've heard some people experience occasional knocking with the stock TRD supercharger running 7psi. Since you're running 10psi with no fuel mods, is it safe to say that the meth injection is your sole method of fighting knock? If you were to disable the meth injection and still run 10psi, do you believe you would experience bad knocking?

2.) Is "boost juice" straight methanol? Or is it a water/meth mixture? How much does it cost?

3.) How often do you have to fill up your 2.5 gallon container? I guess it depends on driving style, and how much you're into boost. What has been your typical time between refills?

4.) Do you have an indicator light that comes on when your kit starts injecting? A light when fluid runs low? Can you hear the pump when it's working?

meth questions

Don't quote me but I believe "boost juice" is 50/50 meth-distilled water. Running straight meth you may have to worry about a fire if you get a leak.
Texas Ace on yotatech has a bunch of write ups on using only meth injection w/o other fuel mods.
When the meth starts spraying it effectively raise octane to 116.
Most systems use at least one light to indicate spraying. I'm using a devils own progressive controller reading boost, initial spray at 4 lbs full spray at 8 lbs, think I'm using a 3gph nozzle currently. My controller has 3 leds , one for power, one for spray, and one for low level tank warning.
Problem with tuning truck to need meth at high boost levels comes when you run out meth and need to be mellow until you can fill up again.
Buying straight methanol in 5 gallon allotments and mixing it at home is much less expensive than buying premixed. I'm using my windshield resivoir for a tank. 1+ gallons goes fast for me if I'm driving like an ass.:hatsoff:

Here's some up dates on what I been working on.
Moved the gauges to on top of the dash. All gauges are fully functional digital air fuel ratio gauge, boost gauge, water temp, trans temp, engine oil temp and lower gauge volts. Green led indicator for meth Injection, red led for engine fan, orange led for pusher fan.

I got both coolers working trans cooler is working super good runs cool even when running hard. I also hooked up a thermostat switch threw the transmission hose to power the pusher fan at 180 degrees. The engine oil temp is really high 240 to 260 I ordered a bigger cooler and I will be mounting a small 9 inch fan on the back of it.

1. Heat taped all my air vent with aluminum tape.
2. Lined the bottom with silver roofing material. I forgot to take a pic when I was done.
3. Replaced all the stock foam insulation.

1. I have ran it disabled but not gone over 4psi.
2. Boost juice is a 50 50 mixture its like 8.50 a gallon I think.
3. My odometer is broken so I haven't checked I put in a gallon at a time usually. I would say about 200 miles running hard. But I could make it last forever it kicks in at 5 psi its easy to stay out of 5 psi.
4. I do have a led indicator light and I can hear the pump kicking in the back.
