My Tire got Shot at! (Included Rant)

That sounds expensive to me. I paid $145 + tax for each Grabber AT2 275x75x16 tire.

So I called.

Because I did not buy the warranty, they could not swap a tire for free. But, they charged me for what there cost is. All other fees are gone. So they buy the tire for $126.99, So I pay that with tax which some out to about $140. So the tire was discounted about 25% off. Which I am quite happy with!
Will I buy firestone again? Probably not.

I'd still call BS on that; I've had 2 or 3 tires blow before that were manufacturer's defects, and had ALL of them either replaced or pro-rated. The only other 'warranty' I've purchased is a road hazard warranty.

I'd probably call Firestone if I were you, to get the skinny on this.
