My very abbreviated plasti dip thread

Just found this thread and watched the youtube vids. I've wanted to do a full color change on my 5th gen for a while now. I had no idea people were doing this. I'm all over it for 500 bones and a weekend!?! Definitely.

Would the Anthracite Grey plasti dip on magnetic gray look good to black out the chrome? I am trying to decide on that, clear smoke, or a black with silver metallic .

It would most likely not match the magnetic grey very well. I would go black.

Holding up pretty well. I've had to do a couple repairs here and there. It pealed off on the hood seam and I used the DYC solvent to re-apply it. Also touched up some trail damage with rattle cans. Overall it has held-up extremely well considering the abuse I put it through on the trail. It has already more than paid for itself by preventing pinstripes. One thing I would say is its pretty hard to keep it looking clean. Dust and dirt really cling to it and clay-mud sort of stains it. As [MENTION=50186]adio3x[/MENTION] mentioned, simple green and microfiber works best to clean it. But it's so hard to keep clean I've pretty much given up on keeping it looking perfect. It's a mostly functional mod for me. But cannot say enough about how tough this stuff is!
