If I were to cut what would be the best way to do in your opinion?
This was one of the other options I thought of before I did the spacers. Well this is how I thought of doing it. Just mark off 1/4" across in a few spots. Then use painters tape to create a straight edge. Cut using a dremel or something you can cut at a slow and easy pace. Just take your time while doing it. You have 2 tries to do it. post some pics when your down.

I emailed them today, this is my exact response from a product manager according to his signature:
"At this time thing are in the air , I would check back in 60-90 days ....

Hopefully, this moves along quickly, might need to seek other alternatives at this point :bash:

These look better than n-Fab IMO and make no mention of them not fitting SR5/Limited. So will they fit????

Same problem as the Shrockworks sliders; they come straight off the frame rails and thus will not fit under the SR5 or Limited rocker panels. Anything that uses the same bolts as that hold the rocker panel brackets will not have the same load bearing capacity as the ones mounted directly to the frame. Same goes if you add spacers between the frame and the sliders.
BFLAN cut his rocker panels. I replaced the rocker panels on my Limited with TE panels. This also means you have to replace your front fender flares.
Its a bigger project than most like, but the results are well worth it.

Pretty sure ,looking at his website, he makes them for both SR5/Limited and TE's.Rocky Road does too. If you look at the other page some are specified for TE's and others are not. I'll try to get a hold of Bud tomorrow to find out for sure. 10+ 4Runner - BudBuilt - Tough Toyota Protection

Keep us updated. I may sell my RR for a set of bump outs. I really Like the look and dual functionality of them.

Harper, I called Bud a month or so ago and he said you would still have to trim the rockers.

Yep, spoke with them today, have to trim. It should state that on the website IMO. I would not be a happy camper paying out that money to find out after they arrived.
I just called N-Fab again today and expressed that there is a lot of interest in them making these fit the SR5 and Limiteds. The guy I talked to said some days hey hears yes they are going to make them, and somedays he hears no they aren't. So I figured if we get a bunch of people to call there on a regular basis they probably will do it. Since the guy I talked to today said they only get about 1 or 2 calls a month in regards to them.

So if you still have to trim what's the difference between his SR5 ones and the trail ones?
