I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this coolant/antifreeze (not the Zerex that everyone seems to be talking about). I compared the MSDS with that of the Toyota "Red" and they appear to have the same ingredients (organic salts, no phosphates, etc.). NAPA sells it for $12.99. The local dealership wants $30 for theirs. Another local "online dealership" has it for $22, but construction/traffic and hours of operation make it a beatdown to get to. If the general consensus is to go with the "Red" then I'll do it, but I'm hoping I can get away with the NAPA version because it's cheaper and more convenient.
I'm hoping this thread will be helpful to everyone so feel free to answer generally, but also know that I already bought 1 gallon of the Toyota "Red" for my radiator install next week only to realize later that I actually should have gotten a second gallon. I'm hoping I can use 1-2 qts of the NAPA product and mix it with the full gallon of Toyota "Red". Any thoughts?
