Is there a newer one? According to the version in the truck, it was installed in 2013, and I'm guessing the data/code for that version was completed in 2012 — a few roads have changed in four years, (although in Canada we just roam around on the ice and tundra and have the sled dogs or inuksuks tell us where to go.) I've seen some on eBay offering 2016 updates, but seems sketchy.
Is there a dealer update and if so how bad is the rape?

My system (Entune 8 speaker non JBL) can't be updated via DVD, nor does it have a micro SD card slot. Maps can only be updated via USB........ [MENTION=83083]rigtec[/MENTION] I think we're in the same boat.

I would guess check with your parts department at the dealership. But I imagine it's ridiculously priced. I haven't had any customer's buy a SD card yet so I don't know...

I just updated my 2015 with the SD card update from the dealer. the SD card took about 8 minutes to update, and updated the map database. I do not see that it updated the Gracenote database :-/
The SD card was the May/June 2015 update.
If anyone with the 2014 Nav system needs the May/June 2014 update, I will sell it for CHEAP!

I will call dealer today to find out how to get the Gracenote update, as I was told, and thought, it was supposed to be done with the map database.

The system does show the update in the software update section of the settings, but as far as I can tell, only map databases were updated.
