Need help draining coolant

On my 2021 there isn’t even a bolt at the driver’s side engine block drain location, just an empty hole. Looks like they went from valve, to bolt, to completely sealing it off. I’m wondering the best way to get those last few quarts of coolant out … lower radiator hose?

Just keep filling with plain water until your lowest “accessible” drain point runs clear?

Assuming you're only doing the radiator petcock drain and your used coolant isn't dirty... Is it safe to use the 50/50 premix Asian car coolant (link below) when you refill? According to a Youtube video by a Toyota tech, it's fine. Has anyone actually done it, though?

Another question... How often are you supposed to replace the thermostat & radiator cap? This seems like an ideal time to do it.

For the price and how often it is necessary, it makes no sense not to use the premix Toyota coolant. No reason to replace rad cap or thermostat unless they have a problem. Mine have 330k miles and over 10 years.

I wouldn’t flush with water and I would only use Toyota SLL coolant. Just drain n fill. Get a better price using the Toyota parts website.

150,819 miles. Interval is 31,032 miles and 42 months.
Radiator drain and fill only. Just over 1 gallon.
Got my coolant from Lewis Toyota for under $19/gal.
