I have a 95 toyota 4 runner 3.0 liter and there is a 90 degree hose leaking at the back of the intake. Cant reach it without taking off the upper intake. Could someone give me a part number or a better description other than bypass hose which it isn't listed that way. I have a pic from a members page that shows the hose coming from the block and hooking into a metal pipe

Not sure but I've had that hose bust on me before...I had my friend replace it for me and he did it without taking the manifold off. But his hands and.arms were beat to death lol

I believe you are looking for the water bypass hose #3, part #16267.

mikedks thanks for the reply. Noone could find the exact part number. I work at a parts store and none of the books or hose diagrams on the computer show the exact part number. Went to the local yota dealer and it was a major fail. Well I got it ordered today with your help and will put it on next week when it comes in.

Put a request into our tech dept that overseas our data base and talked to a tech which told me he knew about the problem and would have it fixed in our data base.

hoe_nah there is no way my hand would ever fit in that tight space. I thought about taking out the bolts to the rear transmission support and jacking up the transmission. All I need is maybee an inch more room then I could change it without any problems.

I have a passenger side valve cover leaking so i will most likely do it all at the same time.

Thanks for the help.
