Need help with factory radio

Dude, did you look at those steps? The NAV systems and the non JBL and the JBL radio all go in the same location in the 4runner. It's the same way to get to the radio for all 4th gens.

Ok thanks. Wow that's a good bit of work to take out the radio. On the Volvo I push a tab on each side, some bars pop out and you pull it out by the bars. Then it just unplugs. I was hoping for a more simple way.

It looks difficult and overwhelming, but you can have it out in your hand in under 30 minutes. All the console parts just click in and out except for the AC control unit, it has one screw. There is another screw in the kick panel under the steering column. But once you do it, you will see how easy it is.
