Need opinions on roof racks

Just need some food for thought I'm looking at a surco roof rack but the adapters are pretty pricy, looked at a Yakima and a Curt, curt is by far the cheapest by 300$ but I'm a firm believer of you pay for what you get. I need one to be functional to mount lights and have my spare tire among other things.

^2nd. And there is a new guy making them out of california. They look similar to the Gobi Stealths. I'm not sure of his name but I saw the thread the other day. Depends on what side of US you're on as far as shipping from either of them though.

The one from Whitson is worth the cost

Whitson appears to be the best if you need full-length, but for a basket, the yakima loadwarrior is a solid choice.

I'll definitely be going with [MENTION=77764]Whitson Metalworks[/MENTION] full length rack in the next year or so. That's the best looking rack for 3rd gens in my opinion.

Yea I saw he will TIG weld as a option. Must take a good amount of time to build a roof rack TIG welding it!

I just threw a Sport Rack/Coleman on the other day with the extension..

costed me a total of about 115.

Bajaracks

This is the rack I got from Bajaracks. It's a little expensive, but so far it's my favorite mod. I stack all my camping stuff on top in action packers and still have the entire inside of the car for the 3 boys, wife, and two dogs.
