Nerf Bars

Hi all. I have a 2011 SR5 and was thinking of adding some after market nerf bars. I was wondering if anybody has some pics of these on your 5th generation. I like some I found on Truckchamp.com. Any suggestions on other places to buy? They look pretty easy to install as well. Thanks.

Do you not like the factory running boards? We just had ours installed today on our 2011 Runner and they look really nice since they match the chrome trim. We had nerf bars on our 2000 4Runner and always regreted not getting the running boards that matched the truck, plus they rusted after a few years. Just my opinion though...
 
Look at my build thread. I have a mod where I added Steelcraft bars, but it also provides a link to the other discussion(s) on this topic as part of that write-up.
 
i have a black 2010 sr5. installed black steelcraft nerfbars. happy with them!! heard the stock boards do not give you enough foot clearance.
 
Thanks everybody..I looked at all the pics and looked at some other threads as well. I was wondering from DigableKid what brand he got...I think they look great.

That's a great way to welcome a newbie. How about you speak for yourself and leave the We's out of future posts. Of course he could use the search facility and I am sure he will discover that on his own soon. I'm bet he was just looking for some actual realtime feedback from other members here.

i'm in the same boat as you. I want to buy some running boards, but, on the fence on after market or factory running boards.

Rickwol and OP- I meant no disrespect, i felt I was putting it as nice as possible, while still letting the OP know that there is a search function and it is most beneficial to use it so that the forum doesn't get filled with a ton of posts all asking the same question.

DigableKid, I really like the look of the Steelcraft...just to make sure I am seeing your pictures right, you have Magnetic Gray Metallic and black nerf bars correct?
Also, I have been researching mud guards (with the help of the search function :-) and if I am correct, the only option is to get them either from canada or husky. I just ordered the husky weatherbeater floor liners and I love them. Wondering if people have had good success with their mud guards.

I ordered mud guards off ebay for about $60.00 got them in a week and installed in an hour. They are great is you ask me. I think they are even toyota parts.
