New 2012 Black TE

Ok so I have been lurking for a couple of years waiting to get my turn on my wife's 2010 4R SR5 and then I sold my Jeep and decided to get my own. Yes, you read that right, this guy has 2-4R in the garage. We just love these vehicles!

So a question off the bat and a comment:
I've got some blank buttons to the left of the steering wheel and I would like to replace the blank button with a button to use for auxiliary lighting. Does anyone know if any of the other Toyota vehicles might have an illuminated button with a light logo silkscreened on it? I am thinking of getting the backup alarm button and using that to control off road lights. Thoughts??

The horn on the 2012 is SOOOOOOO much better than the 2010, I don't think a FIAMM mod is necessary.

The new TT FJ has off road lights on the roof rack, but I have no clue where the switch for them is or what it looks like. Might be a good place to start looking.

The fact that you sold your jeep for a 4runner, makes you a friend of mine already! Congratulations!

Well here she is on my way home from picking her up in Colorado, stopped off in Salina, KS for a burger (no eating in the new truck!)

Thats my old stomping ground! Did you go into Aspen or Leadville, so many trails around that area! Love the truck! Keep exploring and keep posting!

Yesterday I drove up Aspen Mountain. KDSS is pretty nice, I think I can tell the difference. Came back down on Little Annie Road. Today went up to Haegerman Pass and then to High Mountain Pies in Leadville for a Carnivore! Don't see off-roading like this in Oklahoma!

Glad it worked-out for you up here. I think I dropped my house keys in there when I was sitting in it on the lot though! ;^)

Looking forward to getting mine at the end of July (LE).

Enjoy...
