New 2014 - Want to do some mods

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum. Just bought a 2014 4Runner SR5 Premium yesterday and am loving is so far. I'm looking forward to getting and offering great advice in the forum for years to come.

I'm a bit of a modder when it comes to my cars. I've done a lot of audio/video mods in several of my past vehicles.

A couple of the things on my roadmap are HID headlights (which I've already found the thread for) and auto-on/off headlights.

Unfortunately my vehicle didn't come with the auto-headlight feature on the left control cluster, so I'm trying to determine the best way to install it. Has anyone done this mod before?

Welcome to the forum. Not sure about your first planned mod as I don't know of anybody who had that on their "must do" list. Most of us start by figuring out what we want to do in our rigs and then taking one bite at a time to get it where we envision it going. The HIDs are a nice mod though. Go up to the stickies and use the search metrics to see if anybody else has done or tried to do what you are looking at. If that doesn't work, chances are nobody here has tried it or been interested in it... good luck!
