Howdy T4R board! Bought a 2007 Limited about a month ago and have been on here nonstop ever since, finally feeling like I wanted to contribute. Lots to learn and it's a fun project to personalize the truck and fix the neglected items from the PO and make the changes/upgrades I want to it slowly but surely. Thus far I've added Stealth Custom Series SR8 wheels and Goodyear All-Terrain Adventure tires and an AFe filter and a new Sony XAV-201SM headhunt to moderate success (the backup camera isn't working so I gotta do it all again!).
Had to have the fuel sending unit replaced (something I was unable to see was broken when I bought it, unfortunately) and now the EVAP system is going to need a diagnosis to fix whatever is throwing the codes. All good as I expected to be putting money into it, just hoping it's an easy and not terribly expensive fix.
If there are other owners in Seattle reading this, I'd love to hear any recommended repair shops to take the truck to for this and other service. I went to My Mechanic to have the fuel sending unit fixed and David was great but he's been unresponsive and communication is a little disorganized as his voicemail is full and he only sporadically answers emails, so I'm searching out other options.
