Finally! Got back from a nice Christmas break with the family in San Francisco and picked up the truck on the 30th. Mag Grey TEP with KDSS. Love it. Already threw on some wheels and Duratracs, so for those interested keep an eye out on the FS thread for some stock Trail wheels soon.. next up will be plastidip on the bumpers and emblems, and 5100s and some front springs to help firm up the ride and reduce that atrocious nose dive. Pictures after the break; look forward to meeting some of you on the trails!

Nice looking rig!!

I'm in Chandler and there are a few of us from here who get together and hit the trails - there is even a guy with a 5th gen 4Runner too! I think we have all gen's represented in our little group. I have a 1st and 4th gen.

Let me know when you want to hit the trails, I'm always up for a run, and I'm pretty familiar with most of the trails on the east side of town, Florence, all up and down the Beeline highway all the way up to Payson, Sedona and even up in Flag and northern Az

Thanks guys! I actually just got my permit for Bullhead Canyon yesterday. I hear it's a fairly easy run but I want to get my trail legs under me first as well as not push the runner too hard within the first 500 miles or so.. I'm in the central PHX area right above the airport so I can get to most places pretty easily!

I love the idea of trekking up to the Sedona area. I went on the Pink Jeep tour on the Broken Arrow trail with the family when they visited a few years back, so it'd be pretty sweet to go back in my own truck... not many people could say that!

Also saw a youtube video of Sunflower Mine that looked like a lot of fun.

Bulldog is a ton of fun, and nothing technical or hard if you don't want there to be - last time I went through there we did the whole thing in 2wd.

Sedona is amazing as you can imagine - there is something for everyone up there. I'm always up for a trip there!

Sunflower just recently reopened after being closed off for a few years. I have not been up there since it reopened, but a bunch of my friends have and it is much more difficult than it ever had been before as you can imagine.

I'm always up for wheelin! For some easier trails, I'll bring my 06 4Runner, for the more difficult ones, I'd take the 89 :)

Hey what size duratracs, stock? Get my tep soon as ship arrives from Japan. I'm in Scottsdale. Want to do duratracs too and you're looks good.
