I'm interested for sure. Just bought a 4Runner, and the only issue I had was in the sand. Traction Control took over and I couldn't move.

Frank here from the foothills of oil pumping Alberta but with the price of fuel more now than it was when $170 buck a barrel was in place makes me wonder about too much oil = too mucha money!
Any how.
Would you have units for the V6 2006 4WD and 2007 4Wd 4Runners available?

Finally, I got several units from a new producer. Looks pretty nice:
The only problem I cannot program these for some reason. Will try another tool next week to see if it works.
Please let me know when you get it all programmed. I am ready to buy one from you.

On board for a unit!!
Currently I disable the entire VSC and all other control systems by pulling the plug on the exhaust of the Heated oxygen sensor and going for two drives of over 25 kilometers. Check engine, VSC etc. lights come on but no further control by the ECU.
Would rather have a working mod, please.

Ok pals, it is been a long time with no good news in this thread... But it is starting to feel like Christmas and here is the update.
New unit works! :guitar3: It just required more beer to figure out what the issue is.
There are several changes with the new model. Some are good, some are not.
1) There is no separate LED any more - It is on the plate now. So, -2 wires to worry about and free diagnostic light to simplify installation.
2) New CPU and new components made it smaller and it looks more fancy:
As a cons, i did not find a socket with longer wires and new producer did not want to make a custom for me. So, most of the wires would require extension during install.
3) Wires' colors have changed as well for the same reason - no custom sockets. Will adjust instructions accordingly. Connection points are the same though.
I braided one chip today and played with it in different modes. Even heated it with a fan. All looks good. By the end of this week I think I will have enough units ready to send these to all good boys and girls.
The cost slightly goes down and will be 80USD world wide including all fees and shipping costs. Second unit goes with discount for 70 - Lets make this community closer

So looking at this mod, it looks like the functionally is:
When off:
- Shorts the Yellow to Orange (Diff Lock LED control) as factory
Allows the Diff Lock LED to illuminate as factory when device is off - Will Enable if Green wire is Grounded (New on/off switch)
When on:
- Grounds White wire
Disables VSC
Illuminates VSC Off and Diff Lock LEDs - Disconnects Yellow from Orange
Disables Diff Lock LED so that only VSC Off is illuminated - Will Disable if Green wire is Grounded (New on/off switch)
- Will Disable if Diff lock button is pressed
Is this correct?
