New guy from Northern Virginia

Hey all, Im new to this forum but not to yota's. Ive had 3 4Runners and im about to buy one of them back from my folks. Its a 99 with the Highlander package but open diff I was a Toyota tech for about a year but business was too slow since these things dont break like others do so Ive changed professions. Anyway ive been out of the wheeling thing for a bit so I was wondering if there are any good offroad shops preferably toyota offroad shops in the area? Im currently working in Germany but will be back early December and Ill put up pics then. Thanks - Chris

I live in Alexandria. Haven't found any really good local shops. There's Trick Trucks, a local chain, but they aren't highly thought of. I am currently looking for someone to help me with a Toytec spacer lift, but not really getting anywhere.

sweet i have a reply! haha yeah im not a fan of trick trucks. there's a shop in chantilly that has a modded 5th gen in front, i've seen a few 1st gen trucks and a bunch of heeps. i dont know what they're called but they're right by currys in chantilly, you might be able to google currys of chantilly and just go to the other shop. you'll notice it,they always have a bunch of rigs out front

That's so funny you bring up Eastern Off Road, I was the store manager back in the mid 90s. Now I'm at High Tech in Chantilly as Glock19 mentioned.
