New owner, something missing.......

Picked up a 12 Limited 4x4 a few weeks ago. As is customary, no manuals except for the Nav manual. I searched here and found some manuals online, but I'm wondering exactly what manuals I should have in my glove box....owner, warranty, nav, JBL, service manual, etc.....

Any help on exactly what hard copies I should have is appreciated. Love this truck!

My Limited came with 3 manuals- the big one with a full appendix and highlighted red troubleshooting pages, a quick-reference one, and a service/maintenance schedule. Also came with a lock-nut for the wheels and a special key for the smart key. Some other things were there like a random wire (I think for towing). Also have the trailer hitch (no ball in the box though), a random plastic plate, rubber floors mats (carpet ones still in the bag).

My 2011 Limited came with the same stuff as Jaycee. I suggest you go back to your dealer and get the FULL pleather folder w/ all the manuals and extras that you are entitled to get.

Not to mention one of these Toyota pleather portfolios to keep all of the above manuals neatly contained in your glovebox:

Personally, I would go back to the dealer and ask them to give me a complete set; you paid for a vehicle with a full set of manuals, why go through the pains of downloading them yourself? It's just a matter of principle to me though, not like I actually read the paper manual :lmao:

Thanks guys. I have it in writing of what they owe me. They tried to just give me the NAV manual.....told them wrong answer!

Did they ever get you the full manuals? It boggles my mind that dealers don't seem to think people check google or are on car forums.

Heck, the first thing I do before ANY car purchase is to hit all the car forums to find out the "real" issues with that particular model.
