Im wondering if you can put the lenses on or over the light bar? I think it would be a neat function to be able to throw a amber lens on if you wanted to.

Yes, a Rigid SR 20" (which the upper grill fits) is $529 on its own.

I'm actually a little surprised how many people are surprised by how expensive RI gear is, apparently not everyone spends as much time looking at mods for their trucks :noidea:

Personally, I'm thrilled they're offering the upper and lower as separate pieces. The upper is definitely going on my list :dance:

For the money it adds little if any to the function of making a better platform, that is all. If your in it for the looks knock yourself out, it is your truck and your money.

Actually its a brilliant way to add lights to the grills so there is function. But as said they should get rid of the bling, or at least offer a blingless option. Seems very expensive but everything from Rigid is very expensive. I can only assume they are built to outlast the truck but I would like to see it being shot in a Grill Torture Test.

If I were to consider installing one of these, first task would be to replace all the shiny bolts with black hardware. Maybe Rigid will come to their senses and offer them without all the bling.

Or maybe, just maybe, people will like them as is. Just because it's not your cup of tea doesn't mean it won't sell. Have you seen what people bolt onto there truck here?

The only reason this wouldn't sell is the price. A lot of people are going to balk at shelling out $1200 for a light mount.

I'm Sure it would be easy to mod the screw head color if you liked.
Overall Looks interesting, would like to see more details on wiring and install.

Getting ready to order Upper and Lower Grilles and Lights for my 2013 Trail. I sent an E-mail to Rigid industries requesting a set on installation instructions to see what’s involved. On the Rigid site it say’s “We recommend professional installation.”

Just in case anyone is interested in the upper rigid industries grille for 2010-13 and don't feel like paying 300 plus dollars for it, there are some used/open box ones on amazon for under 140 dollars.
