New Vids

Here is a video of theBEAR and I having a blast at Rousch Creek last weekend. We ran into king.cong.1119 on the trail. During this trip I blew a CV joint and crushed my muffler, all is fixed today.

Nice drone footage man! did you have any problem with green or blue?

Climbing Yankee Hill outside Denver. Much steeper than it looks on video. I was in 4Lo with MTS in "loose rock" mode and it walked its way up easily.

Then coming down the other side. Again steeper than it appears. Just for fun I was in crawl control. Crawl was quite elegant getting down.

I love the sound of the rock under the tires. For reference, my TE is stock suspension. I am running BFG KO2 tires and RCI sliders.

Nice video. What's the angle at 0:42s?

Glacier National Park Trip with New SR5

Here is a short video of my Glacier National Park trip from Dallas. It was 4k miles roundtrip.

Just took these yesterday with the GoPro. Nothing special - just out for a Sunday ride with a couple of my Jeep buddies.

Newb question, but are you in crawl control in the 2nd video, and if so which setting did you use?

I've got minimal off-road experience, but I'm hoping my 4Runner will give me some winter access to a cabin I have in Northern MN. Not sure how to handle deep and old snow on a minimum maintenance road.

Thanks and great videos

No I wasn't in crawl control. I rarely use that feature but it does come in handy the odd time.

I can't remember what I was in for that exact video. 4Lo or 4Hi. Just make sure you completely shut your traction control system off in 4Hi. Air your tires down especially in the snow. Your 4Runner will take you places!

Messing around with drone offroad

Went out to the Flagstaff area this past weekend with my buddy so he could test out his new drone... nothing too serious since we only had my vehicle, but still fun.

Here's the video:

Love the the SR5ers...

Very cool video...

...and its why i am always jealous of you guys out west. Living in metropolitan Wash DC, the 4wheelin opportunities are hours away...and out west, it just seems that you guys can just find that next left, and ride some really cool trails to enjoy...:wow:
