New Warn Semi-Hidden Winch Kit bumpers

If they had it to were you could get the winch in without taking it off or at least mostly off (MAYBE) you could remove the top mounting points and "pivot" it down but I doubt it.....I would like to shake that engineers hand.
You can put the winch in the bumper with it mounted if the front fascia is off. That’s how I installed mine.
I don’t have pics but I mounted it as far left on the drum as possible for better access to the switch.
Those holes provide really good access.
So a few questions:
what winch did most use? I’m ordering mine at the end of the month and have bounce between warn and Smitty. VR10 or X20 looks in the debate
Cable or synthetic on the winch? I’m thinking synthetic since everything rust where I am due to snow and weather.
On plate mounting, did everyone just drill and tap the hole or is there a mount for it?

I used a Smittbilt XRC 9500. Bolted up to factory holes in bumper.
Couple things I noticed while installing:
If you have an Icon Shock Resevoir Bracket, the bumper bracket is going to overlap it and you're going to have to drill through it for the rear bracket bolt.
If you remove an additional brace, you can reinstall the plastic radiator side shrouds with minimal cutting.
Finished product.

Which light bar did you use? I am not sure if I can use a 30" or it has to be a true 32" I have the opt7 right now. I am pretty sure that will fit but I might want to change it up.

Ordered 10 mins ago along with the Smitty Gen2 X20. Total was $1218.18 shipped ($1143 w/ promo rebate). I've got some raptor liner that I plan to hit it with prior to install, love that stuff and will cover any scratches that happen during shipping.
Someone had asked about fitment with the RCI skids, I've got their full set so I'll post pics on clearance once installed.
