They look sweet, have the snowflake/mountain symbol, and appear to come in a p-rated size for the stock size tire.

265/70R17 115 T <-- I believe this is a P-Rated size
265/70R17 121/118 S (10-Ply) <-- this looks like a LT E rated to me

For me LT is way overkill and hurts the wallet.

I've owned a few sets of Nokians and sold many more. They are quality made tires for areas that see a lot of winter driving conditions. That tire is very new, you'll have a hard time finding someone with them already.

General Grabber AT2

Take a look at these General Tire - Off-Road and Performance Tires - The Tires - Light Truck & SUV I own a set of the 265/70/17's and I love them. They have excellent traction and they are studdable if you live in a place that would need that kinda thing. I live in AZ so I will probably never need studs unless hell (Yuma) froze over.

They were also rated better than the BFG A/T's and were about a $100 less. Bought mine at Discount Tire/America's Tire with my rims so I get free rotation and balancing as long as I own them and I got the warranty so if I ever have a blowout they will replace the tire at no cost.

I don't have those types but I do have Nokian Vatiiva MTs. Right on the sidewall they say mud+snow. These will sling through a lot of stuff. Haven't seen many guys running Nokians on here. Maybe just a handful. Whole set mount/balanced for around $825 from what I remember.

+1. I got the same tires after Prolex got his and couldn't be happier. They performed great through their first Minnesota winter.

I should have specified (my bad): I bought some rims from a 2011 SR5 and have the Nokians mounted on those. The 20" rims just weren't gettin' it for me.

Me neither. The new set up looks WAY better...less wheel, more tire. Less imp: more function.
