The Club that ran the 4x4 Clinic I wrote about in another post, is having a Noob Run this coming at the Hollister OHV park. They are meeting at 9:30A at the big tree by the bathrooms/camping area above the Old Obstacle Course (the one with the Stair Steps and Frame Twister). I will be there, LMK if you and any of your friends want to join. Its a good, safe way to get some hands-on experience by following experienced guides.
There is limited cell phone reception there otherwise I would give you my number but following is some additional information if you want to go:

- Pay the $5 at the Ranger Station and get the code to the chained fence before going to the 4x4 ranch
- Have to have a 4x4 capable of 4Lo
- Anyone and everyone can come (noob to experienced)
- A CB or FRS capable walkie talkie is helpful to hear each other as we are driving
- Bring lunch and drinks
- We will likely air down so bring a tire guage (you can air back up at the Ranger Station)
- Make sure you are fueled up. There is no gas station at the park
- Plan to arrive before 9:30A to air down and meet some new friends and the trail leads
