Yeah yeah yeah I know... I am in the middle of redoing my garage and I just finished building a new workbench and I have it sitting in the middle of the garge to stain the top.
wish it was a sharknado that would have been a way better story... Or even a goldfishnado would have been cool.
I'm always here... I check in daily to see any amazing new mods are around and to stay up to date on any products that cool kids are putting on their trucks... Been spending most my weekends working and my new garage setup... I'm so smart I waited till it was 115 here to start my garage build...

I was just leaving for work and as I was driving out of my hood a 40ft pine tree fell over in front of me...Crazy high winds and 45 mins of rain. My normal 15 min drive to work took me 45mins and one road I drive down (Dean Martin, for those who live in Vegas) was under 2 ft of water. This morning my pool was full of crap including a dead bird.....:twitch:

we got hit with a nasty thunder storm around 8-9 pm. wind speeds were about 60-70 mph with a ton of rain. the strip and east las vegas are the worse since they are at the lowest elevation.

I know how this feels, I got 70 mph winds and a downpour to go along with it. Good thing I waxed my truck a few days ago. Nothing fell on my truck (thankfully) but keeping to straight down the road in a 70 mph wind wasn't easy. I ended up pulling off to road it was so bad but I had to move almost immediately because of flash floods piping up everywhere. Mother Nature must be on her period again...

Well I finally got to tell the little lady the gobi rack came in good use... It took the weight of the tree on its steel tubing... To minimize the damage... I got real lucky no broken windows just lots of branch swirls... None that seem too deep...probably cause I wax the truck too often? Well I guess now people will think I went off road through a narrow jeep road with lots of brush...???
As soon as the weather gets less monsoon-ish I'll do some compound/wax/etc. all the good stuff I learned from this page Toyota 4Runner Detailing
Not ready for any kind of wet sanding :scared:
