Trying to button the truck up now to make it to Rubicon tonight. I'd be down end of the month or next month though if you want to set something up.
Are you running the entire rubicon? Are you armored? If we can get some more interest ill set up some play time
Im liking the sound of October for a small trip. Possibly have a little more rain by then to wet the trail down. Lets start talking about trails....
Any suggestions?

you be fine with that set up my cousin had a 3" lift with 31s and he had no problwm going through eagle lakes and signal peak is not any harder
Sounds like Eagle Lakes, Signal Peak, or both are our best options. I work Tuesday-Saturday so could go any Sunday/Monday or with notice switch days to be out on the trail ANY other day. Set the dates in stone and I'll see if I can make it. I'm usually free friday-sunday, but if we're going to Signal Peak or Eagle Lakes or anything over there I'd rather camp. That's a long day trip for me.

Id be up to camp and shoot the shit around a fire the night before. Sounds like a good mini vacation. Plus ive been wanting to go on another camping trip before snow fall. [MENTION=95282]mudluvr[/MENTION] might be interested as well. What works best for everyone? Im throwing out Saturday and Sunday dates, if one is better for you let me know. Oct. 12-13, 19/20, 26-27(may have snow)

I vote for the 26-27 because it is harder for me to get the weekends off and it gives me some ahead of time for the request but whats bad it that I wont know my workschedule until the week before so if anyone can do weekdays im a 95% go but if not its all good ima put in my request asap let me know whats good with yall

I'd like to get in on this! Im in the south bay area but head to Tahoe frequently. Let me know when you guys get something set in stone and I will see if I can make it. Weekends are the only time I can go though. Camping is a plus in my book!

Sorry didn't see this. I'm straight axled and linked now. A little bit armored. I went to Rubicon for the Marlin Round Up and went in Tahoe side down Cadillac to the Springs, then back up Cadillac to get out.
I still vote High Lakes over Eagle Lake trail. That trail is like 3 miles long and it runs along I80. Not worth it to me to drive all the way out there to run a 3 mile long trail and I don't feel like camping that close to an interstate. :shrug:

rob the campsite is pretty deep in and the trail splits into fordyce trail Iwas thinking about setting camp when we get there then run eagle lakes and on the way out who ever wants to we can run part of fordyce and the.rest can head back to camp first if its fine with everyone and then the next day run signal peak and head home

oh shit you're right. I got it all ass-backwards. Alright I can prob do that, work permitting.
Any idea on the water levels of fordyce that time of year?
