All of my larger speakers had similar sized magnets.Do you know when Daniel is supposed to get back to you about their test results using your music? I still think it has to be the new neodymium magnet 6x9's are "outperforming" the traditional magnet coaxial drivers in the four rear speaker locations. Ohio Hawk did a very thorough write-up a few pages back and says everything seemed very balance. It is not clear in that write-up whether the 6x9's are rare magnets or not. I wonder if Ohio Hawk could comment?
I am really eager to hear all of this before installing mine... I actually bought the + system with the dedicate 2nd amp to exclusive run the sub and that has a dedicated gain knob. I wonder if that will give more flexibility and headroom. Anyway, as I said before... keep me posted as you find out more.
Thanks!
