I know they are but, you asked what to use to clean them first with. I'm saying to clean it before you sand them, use a chrome wheel cleaner, it's stronger. Then after sanding them, wipe it down with either one, to prep it for paint or primer. Has to have a oil/dirt free surface. Then you good to go..

Nice work. I'm not a fan of two-tone, but it was a cool idea.
I see a lot of people painting their 3 spoke and 5 spoke limited.
I was hoping to paint my 5 spoke sport wheels on my 2001 runner. Are they a different material?
And if so will they hold paint as well as other wheels?
