From what I was told it is just for the seconday cats and would eliminate them so you wont need o2 sims. Someone contact them if they are in the socal area as they might need a donor.

Well i just Replied to URD and asked them if they had any vehicles for development and what kind of time frame they believe for this.

i posed the question of a S/C to them months ago and wanted to talk to someone about it... never could get them on the phone.

Id certainly do a S/C with some alch injection for hot weather for 4K

As for the SC of the 4Runner, don't seeing it happening. I would love to SC my Runner but with all the issues with the motor. Whats going to happen if the motor goes.

I've used a gutten Y-pipe in my IS300 and it brought a lot of top end power.

I may just make one for the 4R but that section does look pretty complex and will take some work to sort out.

Check out my latest turbo midpipe I just made for my IS300.

Hey, I drive a V8 4wd with a custom y pipe and I have built a Turbo IS300

We have something in common.

But The picture you have of the factory y-pipe looks like a Tundra Setup not a 4Runner set up. unless it got changed last year, on 4runners, the primary cats are one piece with the exhaust manifold with a 3rd cat post ypipe with NO o2 sensor after it.

so did they change the Y-pipe design to the Tundra style ? dose anyone know?

Because if they did, They already have aftermarket y-pipes for the tundra. someone can just buy a cheapo on ebay and test fit. Unlike ebay headers the y-pipe wont crack.

I just installed the Off-Road Y-Pipe from URD for my 2008 4wd Runner. I ordered the one for the Taco. The only difference is that the hanger mount is on the opposite side, so I had to relocate it. Also, where the pipe attaches to the cat-back portion of the exhaust, its about 6 inches longer. I am in the process of fabricating a part to attach both pieces. Other than those tow minor fabrications, i owuld say that this is a good fit for the 4Runner. On the 4wd pipe like mine, it reroutes the down tube so that it doesnt get pinched up underneath the linkage. It actually sits higher up underneath so it is harder to get caught up when going off-road. I also have the headers which I have not installed yet. I ordered the same long tube headers that is for the Taco. Once I get the exhaust completed, I will determine if I really want to go with the headers since it is a much harder mod to reverse in a warranty situation. Overall, I want to hear how loud the exhaust is before going any further. Depending on the loudness of the y-pipe, I will probably go with the matching cat-back system from Doug Thorley since it is reasonably priced. I will post my results once I complete the fabrication......

i have conteacted gadget like 2 months ago about a test pipe for the 4runners, i asked about the doug thorley ones that fit fjs if it would fit the 4runner, he said it might not and he said that the urd one might fit, he was suppose to give me some more info if they had one for the 4runner no since he was suppose to test one like last month, i havent heard from him yet, but it will be nice to have that test pipe for my 4runner 4.0
