Ok to use 5W-20 on 2007 V6??

Is it ok to use 5W-20 on my 2007 V6? The filler cap says 5W-30, but TSB EG018-06 seems to indicate that it is acceptable to use 5W-20 on the GR series engines? Isn't my V6 a 1GR-FE engine? Please correct me if I am wrong!!

you'll be fine with either of the two oil weights. but i would pick 5W-20.

i use 0W-30.

5w20 is as thin as friggin water. I personally wouldn't use it on engine that ran on 5w30 for years. But it should be fine especially in the cold weather. Damn fuel saving activists will have us use 0w10 in near future
