Mine took a while to ship out as well. It was partly my fault, as I accidentally provided the wrong cc number, but it took over a week and three phone calls to them before I knew anything about the problem. Once they were able to charge me, the shipped out the next day. Great product, but kinda disappointed that they didn't call me when the charge didn't go through the first time.
On a side note, if you plan to use a hi-lift, definitely weld these sliders to your frame. The mounting plate flexed on mine quite a bit before the hi-lift even had the truck off the ground.

any other comments regarding the strength of these sliders? when I order my sliders, I will be ordering a hi-lift as well...expecting to be able to lift my truck from the sliders....

Not really, they have taken a couple fairly solid knocks and have done their job well. In terms of applying a finish to them, I'd recommend against DIY spray on bed liner products. The one I used was a PITA to apply, took days to dry completely, and has stood up poorly to the elements. I plan to have them Line-xed before the winter this year.
The first thing I did was lift my truck up on both sides. Really no issues, but if I made a habit of doing this off road, I would get them welded.

I definitely understand them being backed up when they throw them up at 20% OFF, they are a great deal and people seem happy with them. I just didn't know I'd be signing up for SW / Gobi level of the waiting game (although I guess it has only been one month
).Disappointing thing really isn't that they are running behind, but that they haven't followed through on keeping me in the loop about their status. They told me last week that they should have sent mine out with the last batch, "but somehow that didn't happen," and that they'd ship last week.
Truly not that pissed off because we just had a baby 6 weeks ago so I don't have that much time to sit around and worry about when I'm gonna get my sliders, just want them already is all!

Mesh instead of Dimple Die....?
Looks like everyone is going with some combination of the dimple die....any reason why nobody is choosing the mesh option? Only pics and/or info I can find about their mesh is on the FJ sliders. Do you think there is any strength compromise or just aesthetics?

I think ugly would be the accurate descrption haha. I didn't get the mesh because I hadn't seen any examples of it, now I'm glad I went with the dimple die.

WTF where are mine then??? Good for you though.
I assume the TE, SR5, and LE stock are at different levels and have different lead times so orders aren't all processed oldest to newest. Only an assumption though.
I just figure I'd share my timeline on the LEs.
Hope yours come soon... Waiting on an order gets painful

Sliders on (lots of Pics!)
Like my last post said, my Sliders finally came in Wednesday, and that night/Thurs/Fri night I added a coat or two of Rustoleum Hammered Finish Black spray paint after being primed with a Rustoleum metal primer. (Tuesday I took my rocker panels off the rig so I didn't have to deal with that this weekend).
Here they are when they arrived:

Today I did the rest, that is:
1. Disassemble and cut (with my friend the Ryobi Angle Grinder) the Rocker Panel (take chrome strip off for paint, and take the metal bracing off the panel). After cutting them I was left with this (the slim amount of Rocker Panel that went back on the car is not pictured as it was, on the car):
2. Mount the Sliders! I used jack stands to get them close to the mounting holes on the frame and then ratcheted them in with the supplied bolts, locks and washers, the install was very straight forward!
3. Then I painted the side strips and reassembled the slimmed down Rocker Panels, they just barely fit, but I like the look of the tight fit.
Here are a bunch of miscellaneous pictures of the end result.

Like always, the excruciating wait to get the product was well worth it in the end as they are of top quality and seem to be really heavy duty!
If anyone out there is interested in these sliders and want to see more pics let me know I can take more!
