sigh, 12 weeks in and nothing yet...
why not just install it yourself.... it isn't rocket scienceOrdered 7/14/16. Got a call a couple of weeks ago to schedule the free local install. I was kind of bummed when they started listing dates. They called me to schedule on 9/16/16, or 8 weeks later, and said the first date they could do the install was 10/12/16. So, it ended up being a call that scheduled me to wait another month. Oh well, it's almost here. At least I'm getting the lift and tires next week to tide me over until the following week!
Cause I live only a few miles from them and it was an option they offered for free. I didn't even have the truck until 2 weeks ago. So, not really a big deal, but looking forward to it. And I didn't have to pay for shipping, which was also nice.
I got $100 off and free installation for local pickup. They didn't mention scheduling when I ordered though. Sure hope I don't get screwed on timing. Was it actually ready when they called? Or had they just figured out when yours would be good to go? If they schedule me for a month after it's built and ready I'll be heading over to strap it to my roof and just use a 6-pack bribe to get a neighbor to help me lift it for installation. Hell, I'll weld up a gantry if I have to in order to shave an extra 4 weeks off.![]()
One more perq of going direct is Gobi doesn't charge you until it's ready. I'm assuming TD charges you when you place the order, although maybe that's not the case.
Sorry with your experience, unfortunately this seems to be far too common with them. But hey good luck in the office! :thumb3:

Anyone want me to ask about their orders?[emoji851]
