well, just thought id give an update, i like these bulbs, although not as bright as hids, they do put the light right where its needed, also farther down the road, it makes seeing road signs & deer, etc. off on the side better too. and no blue tint. i got sylvania ultras for the highs, & noen yellow for the fogs, theyre a big improvement too. there all 55w & i recommened these if you dont want to go the hid route.

I just put a set on my bike which uses H11's, and there is a huge difference. Great bulbs...they kill the SilverStar in every way.

if the 9006 is considered the HB4 , maybe, but only in +50 i think. i know they have phillips extreme power +80 bulbs in the 9006/HB4, thats suppose to be good also, you can email daniel stern & ask. candle power inc. is the place that sells ..- store.candlepower.com or danielsternlighting.com

Bought a set of Osram Nightbreakers for my Honda Pilot ( HB4), good light but one burned out after 6 months. Powerbulbs sold me a new set for 1/2 price rather than deal with return shipping etc under the warranty. Had sold the Pilot by time the new bulbs arrived so put them in my sis in law's X-Trail over a year ago. Bulbs are still going great and she likes the increased light output.

For the 4Runner I prefer H9 lows and HIR highs, and they will probably last longer than the Nightbreakers.
