Not quite...

The chamfer would add a second angle to the profile, but would basically taper out towards the rear of the truck.

I tried to make some drawings on the pic, but they're from my phone(!), so hopefully they make sense...

Alright. Now I know that I can't meet everyone's wishes, so here is the plan.
The front most part of the wing will be cut back for all bumpers. This will be a done deal for the LE guys, but if anyone here can measure their LE flares off of the body for me that would be awesome, just need some confirmation. Either that or ship me their busted up set they don't want any more, hehe.
For the SR5 or no flares, we will make new wings that are slimmer.
Here is where we are going to cut, haven't decided how far in yet:

I cannot move the break lines, that changes too many things, it starts a domino effect.

So right now we can actually take orders for anyone with LE flares!

We are going to be making more changes than I said we would. This is to match the front bumper better, less boxy.

As far as the swingout we have to get this bumper done first, then the swingout will follow.

Since you are reworking a bunch of stuff on the rear bumper I thought I would throw out one more idea. I was wondering if the rear recovery points could be thicker? Mostly for looks and noise reduction. I know that the ones you use are strong enough as I have pulled half a dozen full size trucks/jeeps out with your front bumper. I just wish they were wider so that when the shackle is mounted it stays centered instead of sliding to one side or the other. I think it would give it a more robust and finished look.

Good luck with the tweaks you are making, we anxiously await more pics.

Nice! It's a subtle change, but adds so much more character to the bumper and ought to tie it in with the front a lot better.

Will the limited flare version have the same shape (chamfered bottom on the sides)? Also, will it be wider overall on the sides (like the original design) or will it angle out more to meet the wider flare?

Thanks, we are still trying to figure out the top flat for the LE versions, but the sides will be the same.

bumper looks nice. Can you give me some specs on the 4R in the picture? Lift/tire size.

I have a black SR5 and it seems as though the tires on the truck look a little small or not in proportion with the space in the wheel well now.

265/75 (31"?) and it has a suspension lift, not sure how much.

thanks. gives me an idea of how mine would look. For me...I think larger tires would be needed to balance the amount of open space.

time to start saving for bumpers...of course, after I Christmas.
