I need to get some rock protection on her first... I dont like taking the bunny slopes

I remember a few sections you needed a little encouragement to make it through, so wasnt ALL bunny slopes. Amazing how a teetering Open diff vehicle can suddenly find traction when you tease with "Do I need to get the strap?" Jimmy did a great job since it is a completely different animal then what he is used to driving. To answer the question no he never did need to be pulled or hooked up. I can't wait to see him on the trails with the Armor and lockers. I expect some sectacular footage after that.


Although I can't complain to much about being on the bunny run. We got to walk, crawl, drop and climb our way around a few mines. The trail leader researched and mapped out and was familiar with several of the mines in the Calico area.

FJ 80 Sliders

So here they are finsihed and off to Powder Coat! Now onto making them for the 3rd Gen 4 Runner! The 3rd Gen ones will be tighter to the body and form fit. The FJ 80 has some huge body lines and a couple of MONSTER Cats on the side.

They are about 45 lbs.. Super beef but considering the truck weighs so much it is a small price to pay. The 4 Runner will be considerably less as we will be doing things a little different on them.

Sliders will be next as I can bring them to market faster.. As a smaller shop we have to pick and choose our battles. A rear bumper that functions and looks the way we want will require some major work. To those who are waiting on us for a rear bumper I assure you it will be worth it!

Those are some of the best side parts I've ever seen! If it weren't for the fact that my wife needs something a bit lower to step on to get into the truck I'd so get 'em. Can't wait to see the finished product for the 4Runner!
