Outlet/Air Compressor =

So my faithful little Master Flow Tsunami finally pooped out on me (for the second time). First time I emailed them and they sent me a new valve pronto, but now I'm thinking it's time for a higher end compressor.

In the meantime, I'm going to Calico this weekend and I know I'm going to be airing down my tires. I have a 120v air compressor that does a great job in the garage and was wondering if you guys think the outlet in the back will handle it.

It's stated to have a 3.3 amp draw, which, according to my extremely limited knowledge of electricity, should come out to be right around the 400 watt limit on the 120v inverter in the back. I'm still running the stock battery.

Do you think this is ok to use? If it isn't, it'll just pop a fuse, right? Where is the fuse for that outlet located?

Hi Spencer,

Your calculations are correct; about 396 Watts! The fuse for the Inverter is located in the Main fuse box under the hood (marked "Inv 80A"). If the fuse does blow (really shouldn't) "No harm shall befall you my child!" hahaha!
