Painting fender flares

Just wanted to ask who all has tried painting their fender flares to match the body, not like just flat black? I have a local shop that will sell a pint of oem paint and a small aerosol gun to spray it for about $30. Thinking of trying it.

Mine need a repaint. The body looks great but each flare has some blemish in it.

Are yours in bad shape? If so, for $30 why not try it.

Well I've got a white runner with silver flares so I'd be changing it to white. I wanted to make sure it would come out half way decent so I'm not ruining perfectly good flares.

i tried to paint my fender flares the same color with the spray can they were looking good for a couple months until the clear started to peel.
