Next up, ditch lights.
Bought a relay bracket, wiring harness, and "OEM" switch a few months ago (CaliRaised).
A pair of lights a couple of weeks ago (Tractor Supply).
Plugs to connect the lights to the harness arrive today (Amazon), brackets to mount the lights (Lasefit) should arrive tomorrow.
I don't want/need super-duper lights for ditch lights because I'm going to use them as.... actual ditch lights. Round, 3½" work lights. Inexpensive so "those that know" are less likely to steal them. If someone does, they're only $10-15 each.

Mounted the brackets and lights, also the relay bracket. Must look groovy even if they currently aren't connected to the electrical system.
I just got home 2 days late, after being stranded in Albuquerque. Work tractor broke down and the part needed is on back order. Our shop had one. Gave it to a load coming my way. Got it installed and drove the short 500 miles back home.

Wired the lights between thunderstorms. They seem like they'll work as I hoped (flood beam quartering to each side).
Now need a couple "add a taps" for the OEM switch

Drove it around a bit this evening. Makes quite a difference where I live. Nearly all dirt roads or tracks. Finding crossroads was challenging. It's all open range so there are cattle lurking where you don't necessarily expect them (burros too).
Next, to wire the OEM switch.

OEM switch installed and everything functions, though not as completely as I would like. I'm always pressed for time. Kind of ironic as I just started vacation.
Relay is connected directly to battery. When we go to town today I'll get an "add a circut" and connect it through the tail lamps fuse (both fused @ 30a).
The other thing that bugs me is I have yet to find a dash light circuit for the switch backlight. Seems simple, but I run out of time for finding where to connect. I now have to switches to iluminate. To add insult to injury, the ditch light switch is next to the dash light dimmer, lol. Again, lack of time. Need to get ready to head to Idaho for family reunion (700 miles each way).

While on vacation, and in a city with a Toyota dealer, I bought a case (6 qts) of WS ATF.
Just passed 50k miles. I'll "drain & fill" the transmission sometime in the next 10k miles.

Back from the short 1,600 mile road trip (I normally drive 3,000+ miles every week).
Reset the MPGometer on the dash when we left. The drive was all interstate and mostly US & State highways.
Average MPG upon return reads 18.3.
