So basically follow the repair manual, unbolt the old parts, and bolt the new ones back on.
I think I'm gonna do this...

yup, take your time. the toughest part once again is the fender liners, just break off all the plastic tabs with pliers. message me if you have any questions.
Mtbnole, the ride is pretty good with this setup, I don't do any hardcode off roading so for the meantime it will suffice.

finished doing my FXR projector retrofit today!!

nice job on the 4runner it looks great, very nice pictures, I like the one with the modern looking home in the backround. I saw a picture of your truck in another thread in regards to the satoshi mod but completely lost track of it....I finally found you back haha. I wanted to ask what the part number for the TOYOTA emblem was? I'd like to do the same thing for my 3rd gen

They could at least change it up a little from the same BORING few colours each year. Even the FJ evolved with new colours like yellow, white, green, red and now cement. If there was a white TE, I'd want a nice bright white, not pearl. I bet it would be in the highest demand.

I have decided to trade in my 2010 4Runner TE in black for a Blizzard Pearl Limited. The money I am making on the trade in will cover the TE Conversion, new shoes, and a lift/level.
Well, "decided" is not official yet. I will be heading over to the dealer this weekend see the final numbers and sign things away.
Back in 2010 I stopped in to the Toyota dealer looking to walk out with the new FJ TE in white. It was soooo bad ass. Well, the sales rep said, "have you ever looked at a 4Runner?". Long story short, we drove off with the 4Runner and never looked back.
50,000 miles later, I get a stock email from my Toyota Dealership wanting to buy my 4Runner. I do a little research and find out that these babies HOLD their Value! So much value, that I am able to cover an almost complete TE conversion.
Thanks so much hbryanlopez for posting your beautiful White TE. It has been able to give me a true point of reference for "my" upcoming project. Thread will be started soon come.

Back to stock height with 265/70/17 duratracs. So far I'm loving the stock ride feel. The tires look very aggressive at stock height with my current wheels.

Looks good man. Something about Stock size DTs you just can't go wrong with. Did you get that mileage improvement you were looking for?
