Hey guys! My dad bought this rig for me when I moved back home, completely stock 2000 limited, 5 spoke wheels and rear locker.
Here is a list of what I have done to it in te past 2 monthes
Don't hate on my ride, it dosnt leave the pavement
Hood protector, Window vint visors, k&n cold air intake, sylvaina superstar ultras headlights, grill guard, 6 inch KC lights, pioneer headunit, Polk speakers, Rockford fosgate amp, MTX subwoofers, 20% window tint.
I think that's about it... For now. Ha
I want green led lights, everywhere!

yes they make noise, I don't need anymore speakers, I can't think when it's turned up, trust me she's loud. I don't know if you saw but I put in door speakers already.

I'm thinking about clear corners also, maybe a new grill also a rear backup camera or my ps2 hooked up for the passanger.

Yeah, I would definitely say the vast majority of us like a little lift. I for one am not for the huge tires on these platforms though. And in the end I think most of us are down for just about everything as long as you (the owner) are into it. Even if it's leaving it bone stock!

Its a toyota Forum man noone should hate on anyone ride.. Ive seen some lowered, body kits, painted all different types of colors, big wheels stock wheels.. 4x4 offroad beasts, 2 wheel drive city drivers with 22's on them.. lol some like there trucks looking A+ some people dont care as long as it gets them over that hill..lol

I think its a nice truck man i like what ya did with it.. the brush gaurds make most trucks look a whole lot better with just that.. but i bet it pounds being enclosed..

Lookin good man! I agree with most of the comments here.....as long as you like it...THAT'S ALL THE MATTERS! Hell, I lifted mine and put big tires on it...but it doesn't leave the pavement much either!

People will have their opinions.....I personally respect the work anybody puts into their rig.....especially when they do the work themselves!

A friend of mine was running that same intake with an intake temp gauge and it actually was sucking in warmer air than the stock airbox. I would just deckplate it man!

Good looking truck. And don't worry, mine has a small lift, bigger tires and it's too nice to take off road. It may see the beach but nothing else. Enjoy your truck, that's all that really matters.

If it's a street pounder then ditch the brushguard since it looks like it weighs down the frontend,does little for real protection and IMO doesn't look right on a stock 4Runner but otherwise it's a good start.

Most on here dont take thier rigs off road anyways, nothing wrong with that, we/I call them Posers, lol again, NOTHING wrong with that at all,

I agree with Ron, take that brush gaurd off, unless you want to push shopping carts out of the way Im from KC, and know that most are concerned about the stereo, (more than anything) putting 20s on etc etc not a damn thing wrong with it imp:

ron ive seen you around alot and know your input on this site. but im going to keep it, i dont know what you know about the brushguards but it saved my 96 from being totaled when i went from 40-0 head on in a wreck <- wasnt my falt but damn did it hurt. it kept the airbags from poping and radiator from breaking so i could drive it home with no problems. thats y i put one on this ride.

i would but the owner of the truck says no lifts. so i have to go a diffrent way.

ps the 96 is the offroad hunting truck now <- we fixed it from the wreck

im pretty proud that i did all this in 2 monthes, lots of money for my budget, and its all things i like
