To everyone that came out today, it was awesome (even though my CV axle decided to explode). Those trails were very fun and I'm glad we got to ride them compared to Wharton. My truck is currently at a Toyota dealer and I hope to get it back tomorrow in between classes. If not, I'll have it Tuesday. I'm 99% sure it's the CV axle (as most of you saw) it was spinning freely and the grease shot out of the torn boot too. Obviously, the truck rolled freely so the front diff couldn't have been locked up (I hope it is just the axle I would definitely update everyone when I find out for sure).

Thanks for everyone that helped out today to those that were stuck and when I broke down. The 4Runner community is definitely a great group of guys and it's always a fun time going wheeling for the day. As mentioned BIG thanks to [MENTION=89072]Tresvn[/MENTION] for pulling my truck for an hour off road to get back back on pavement. It was very impressive, my truck was in Neutral the whole way out and he pulled me through mud and water and sand, without problems. And the fact that we got back to Wendy's with everyone's help at the end was awesome too! I got towed to the dealer for free by the way, covered by insurance! Hope you all made it back alright, keep posting up the pics! I got a few pics that I'll post up in the next few days when I have time. Can't wait to have my 4Runner back in the driveway!

Mike I am working on seeing if there is some sort of delete for when a front axle breaks it doesn't leave your truck dead in the woods I'll let you know what I come up with. To all the guys that did have a good time I go out almost every weekend but do a lot of night riding through those woods lots of parties going on at night if anyone is interested let me know

I think the only solution is pulling the sensor for the traction control/VSC/ABS. It would probably allow me to drive but would probably destroy my front diff or transfer case in the process. If you do find out something, let me know. I love my full time 4 wheel drive but it really screws you over when something like that happens.

I would seriously consider an inchworm transfer case. That way you can have 2 and 4WD with low range. Not being able to disengage 4WD can really screw you over, as you experienced yesterday.

Yea i had a real good time! lots of fun....Thanks Nick for taking us out and I am def interested in checking out some more of the trails out there. Ill shoot you a message if I am able to get some time on a weekend and see if you are heading out.

It's just not worth it to me. This truck is daily driven and it's not worth it to put thousands of dollars into a new transfer case. Maybe in a few years when this truck is my wheeler and I have a car, and a full time job lol

I have a lot of good dash cam footage. Since [MENTION=70746]DeeBreezy[/MENTION] was in front of me for a good portion of it, there's plenty of good shots of him. I just have to edit all that raw footage.
