PLEASE HELP ME before I ...

I dont think so, I bought some off of a guy on tundrasolutions who is adamant that his truck met all the criteria for what I wanted.

03 TRD 2wd Access cab

Did you ask him for the color code before you purchased them? If you did then the coils DO NOT meet the criteria, if you can't return them I would post them back on tundrasolutions and get whatever you can for them b/c they aren't really of any use for your Runner...sorry:dammit:

Yeah he said they were yy/yb. Then when I got them and they weren't he said he thought I meant yellow and blue bilsteins. I guess its back to searching for the right springs...

If it were me I would try to work out a deal with the guy and see if you can get some of your $$ back, if he refuses then start a thread about him being a bad seller. Its up to you but I would be very unhappy with the deal.

Yeah I emailed him, we'll see what he says.

Thats pretty lame, to not attend your own party huh? Well I hope I'll get springs by then.

No worries, what's lame is that someone sent you the wrong parts in the first place. I paid $100 for a e-locker brain sent the guy pics and all he still sent me. The wrong part. I lost the money then found what I was looking for locally for $60.

Yeah that really sucks. I'm still so confused about the whole color dot thing. I know the y/y y/b are the desired but some DC TRD Tundras had the y/y y/b and others had the y/r b/r. I will just keep looking around. Hopefully you can get this straightened out and get your lift on.

Don't quote me, cause I may be wrong, but I believe that the YY/YB springs come from a TRD 4X4. I think that this is where you guys are going wrong with the whole spring dots situation......You can get a TRD 2wd or a TRD 4WD, and I believe the 4x4 springs are better for our lift, because they are designed to carry more load......again....don't quote me on that!

Yeah I know that whole deal with the 2wd v 4wd, but I'm talking about a 4wd DC TRD Tundra. I talked to a guy and he was selling some that had y/r b/r and they were TRD. I have read that the DC coils are stiffer to hold the extra weight of the DC, but I just don't know if they are that much different than the y/y y/b. I didn't end up buying them because shipping from Ventura was going to be $60, but I was tempted to test them out. I'm looking around now for different ones,

PB, check out this site Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market You can search throughout the nation and find the coils. I'm talking to some people in the midwest about some and they say they are $40 on the site. Unfortunately I got a girl who looked at the shocks and said they were y/b not the coils. I tried to explain what a coil was and to look for the dots, but I don't know if she got it. Hopefully tomorrow she will have my answer. Good luck though.

Alls well that ends well...and a question

Guy agreed to refund me for the struts if I pay for shipping back.

Found a set of yy/yb springs only from a member on here!

Now question: So Ill have the springs soon enough, and I can find shocks (either Bilstein, OME or blue tokiko, dont know which ones yet). Where would i find that "tundra isolator" that I need?

Good to hear things are working out for you man! I'm not really sure you need the Tundra Isolator, I didn't use it, just re-used my 4Runner isolator. Maybe someone else can chime in on this?? Now that I'm hearing this about the isolator, I'm going to look at my setup tomorrow, and make sure all looks good. I kept them as well as the Tundra Top plates....never know when you'll need them.......
